Éric St-Pierre

Éric St-Pierre is a strategic leader with many years of experience in the fields of finance, accounting and insurance. With his analytical abilities, attentive approach and strategic outlook, he is skilled at resolving complex issues.
Mr. St-Pierre started his career in 1998 as junior auditor at an accounting firm before moving on to a position as accountant at TMP Worldwide for three years, where he led the financial consolidation of that company’s six offices across Canada.
In 2003, Mr. St-Pierre joined the Fédération des caisses populaires acadiennes, as UNI Financial Cooperation was formerly known, as Financial Management Advisor. He held positions as Recovery Advisor and Director of Operations at Acadia Life and was subsequently named Director of Financial Management, Treasury and Accounting. His growing responsibilities within the organization led him to work very closely with caisses throughout the network and contribute to numerous strategic projects including a pension plan restructuring and the turnaround of caisses in financial difficulty. In May 2017 Mr. St-Pierre was appointed Assistant Vice President, Finance, and in January 2018 he became vice president of Finance.
Mr. St-Pierre is involved in the community, is a board member of LAVVI and a member of Club Richelieu. He also served on the Board of Directors of L'Acadie Nouvelle for several years. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration, majoring in accounting, from the Université de Moncton. He completed the CMA Accelerated Training Program at the Université du Québec à Montréal and obtained his CMA and CPA accreditations. Over the years, he has taken several training courses in accounting, finance, insurance and management coaching.
