Mike Wilson

Wilson is the CEO of the AIL Group of Companies, a world-leading innovator in the design, manufacture, delivery and installation of efficient infrastructure solutions in structural plate, prefabricated bridges, retaining walls, sound barrier walls and drainage products. A Professional Engineer by training, Mike is passionate about R&D and innovation and actively supports numerous university engineering programs.

Mike was recognized as Atlantic Entrepreneur of the Year in 2005. In 2013, he was inducted into the New Brunswick Business Hall of Fame. Mike has been a member of the Business Council since 2006 and is a Past Chair. He is also a Past Chair of the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (NB Chapter). In 2019, Atlantic Industries Limited was recognized as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies and their New-Brunswick-developed Ultra•Cor Structural Steel Plate was used to create the “world’s largest metal buried bridge span” in Dubai, earning a Guinness World Record for the project.

Mike lives in Sackville, New Brunswick which is also home to the AIL Group’s corporate headquarters.
