Jake Augustine is the CEO of McGraw Seafood, a First Nation-owned seafood processing company based in New Brunswick. He leads the company’s operations, capital expansion, and export strategy across North American and international markets.

Under his leadership, McGraw has completed major capital investments, expanded snow crab processing, diversified into lobster and groundfish, and advanced its transition toward year-round operations.

Beyond McGraw, Jake serves as President of the New Brunswick Crab Processors Association and as a board member of Fondation Communautaire de la Péninsule Acadienne.

A Mi’kmaq leader from Elsipogtog First Nation, Jake is focused on building resilient, community-owned enterprises that create long-term economic value and meaningful employment in rural and Indigenous communities. He was named one of Atlantic Business Magazine’s Top 50 CEOs in 2026 and is a recipient of the King Charles III Coronation Medal.

Outside of work, Jake is an avid traveller who enjoys exploring new countries, cultures and food with his partner, Miguel. Whether travelling for business or personally, he values the opportunity to experience new places, meet people and bring fresh perspectives home to New Brunswick.
