Jeff Matthews has been with Irving Oil for over 31 years. As President & CEO and working with our company’s Board of Directors, Jeff leads our business and is responsible for guiding our strategy and stewarding our company’s growth.

His career began in the finance group before moving into operations. Jeff worked in the Commodity Trading operations, eventually leading the group.

Much of his career was spent in Business Development, leading a team of people focused on partnerships and acquisitions, including the development of Canaport LNG and the acquisitions in Ireland. Jeff joined the executive team as the Chief Business Development officer in 2014.

In 2019, Jeff moved over to lead the finance organization as Chief Financial Officer.

Jeff and Cindy have been married for 31 years and have two adult children.
