Denis D. Caron

President and Chief Executive Officer

Caron joined the Belledune Port Authority in 2015, and became President and Chief Executive Officer in January of 2016. In this role, Mr. Caron is responsible for the overall operation of the Port and its financial success and has the ability to connect vision and strategy into even further world-class execution and leadership to drive the BPA’s success for the next chapter.

Mr. Caron has over thirty years of experience at the municipal, provincial and federal government level. Spanning the three decades, he has held various positions in the Environmental and Economic Development (Agriculture and Fisheries) fields at the Deputy Minister level. Denis has also sat on provincial and national boards and still remains active on several boards and councils.
